Most people will eventually find themselves in a situation requiring first aid, either for themselves or for others. Properly applied, first aid can mean the difference between life and death, rapid recovery and long hospitalization, or temporary versus permanent disability. Consistent with OSHA regulations for first aid training in the workplace, the First Aid Course covers bleeding, broken bones, burns, seizures, and heat and cold related emergencies. After all, it is better to know first aid and not need it than to need it and not know it.
