Over five million workers in health care related fields are at risk to exposure to bloodborne pathogens, such as the HIV virus and hepatitis B virus, as well as tuberculosis. If you are at risk for exposure, you need to know how to protect yourself. Designed to meet the current OSHA annual training requirements, including California OSHA requirements, Bloodborne Pathogens Online was created for those of you who have potential for occupational exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials. In addition to learning the content of the OSHA Standard, you will receive training on the categories defined with the Standard.
